Cairns School of Distance Education shifts to full digital delivery and updated grading approach

Cairns School of Distance Education has moved to full digital delivery for Years 11 and 12 with no printed course materials, and extended this approach to Years 6 to 12 from Semester 1 2021. The change removes printed copies entirely for those year levels. Students now access all materials online through the school's systems.

The school also updated its grading policy in 2023. Teachers may apply on-balance judgement to award grades to students who have not completed formal assessment.
